This is what pisses me off about the whole illegal immigration thing. Poeple pretend they just fell off a truck and rolled into the country. They're using all kinds of fake IDs and forged documents to stay here that long. fukk I care how many kids you had here while youwere breaking the law. The Man gives zero fukks about me I'm not showing you mercy either.

So MSNBC just interviewed this lady now and she doesn't speak a lick of English :gucci:. Here over 2 decades and not a word. This is what has people upset. You gotta accommodate folks who refuse to adapt. Gotta speak spanish in order to get a job in certain industries. Got whole supermarkets in some neighborhoods where English is the fine print on products.

That's not really the point though. You basically told the kids to go to Mexico to live with her even though they were born here. The mother herself has been living in the US since she was 14 so it's not like the kids are going to be familiar with Mexico.

It reads kinda harsh. "Hey kids you mad your mommy got deported? How about you get out this country too if you want to be with her."

Do you see how you come across?

you realize you're using the anchor baby argument right? Come here illegally and have kids then use the kids as the excuse for why you should get to stay.

I think the government was trying to pass laws a few years back to stop the Chinese pregnancy tourism industry where women would pay come over pregnant and stay until they gave birth

Brehs. They knew this was coming. This is called not taking care of business. 22 years to work on your citizenship. You know you are living here illegally...

All I'm saying is that if I waltzed into another country and set up shop bodly and had no paperwork they would give me that work:camby:

I hear all the sad stories about peoples families getting broke up. I do. But i dont pretend to care.:ehh:

They all know they are in a temporary holding pattern. Their worst nightmare came true. Trump:francis:
As an immigrant, that was illegal at one point and now a citizen, you're completely right. She could have married an American even if it was a sham. You can't come here illegally and try to live here like you would have back home. You have to be pragmatic. This is not your country. Why the fukk did she marry another illegal immigrant that can't do shyt for her?

Which path did you take to become a citizen? Did you become a permanent resident before becoming a citizen? If you don't mind

Long painful story but I'll try to keep it brief. Parents split up. Mother left Jamaica to move to Florida. She over stayed her visa and was out of status and illegal. My father didn't know and I visited her when I was 11 years old one summer and wasn't sent back home. Overstayed my visa and now I'm illegal. Enrolled in middle school etc.
A few years later my dad decided to move to the US. He did so and married an American woman in a sham marriage. He got his papers and then filed for me. Divorce his paper wife and filed for his other kids and my step mother.

I got my work permit when I was in ninth grade and got my permanent resident when I was in 11th grade. A couple of years later I got sworn in for my citizenship.

Growing up majority of the immigrants I knew were either here illegally or were out of status. It almost seemed like it was normalized in that community. It's a terrible and stressful way of living -- especially for those that came here as children and can't relate to their homeland and unable to integrate into the country that they are living in.

It's a shame how many kids have stories similar to mine. My wife's story is almost identical to mine except I was the one that married her so she could get her papers.

:whoo:

I never knew your parent could file for you. Is that the usual practice to first issue a work permit before the green card? I know Mexicans get the most attention for crossing the border, but if I'm not mistaking the Chinese are the #1 group to overstay their visas.
