What do yall think our pass rushers do this year? How many sacks do you see for Hageman, Mass, BeerMan, etc?

Maybe a total of 10 between them. That's my biggest issue with the defense we have NO pass rushers (with the possible exception of Osi, who will be a situational pass rusher anyway). Nolan has been talking about generating a pass rush from all over the field since he got here and outside of that start to 2013, it hasn't happened. Our safeties are looking shaky since both the rookie Southward & Lowery (the projected starting FS) are hurt. I don't trust our LBs to get to the passer either. The Falcons are banking that the push up the middle with Tyson Jackson, Solali & Babs will help offset that, but IDK breh. I think this will be a mediocre pass rush at best and a bottom feeder level defense

I feel you. I'm hoping for more than that though. I don't think we have anybody get more than like 7-8 sacks this year but I hope we have like 4-5 guys in that 4-6 sack range. As far as FS is concerned, I read that we're cross-training McClain and the rookie CB Ricardo Allen there. While I would love to have somebody with more experience back there, I feel better about the position if we are willing to experiment with CBs that have some ball skills back there rather than subpar true safeties like Motta or Ishmael :scusthov:

I hope I'm wrong. The interior of the DL is better & all they've talked about is getting tougher so this team should definitely be better vs. the run, but I still don't see how were getting to the QB unless we blitz a lot & leave Tru & Alford in a lot of 1 on 1 situations (I think they'll hold up, but they'll get burned some too). This team will struggle to stop people

Maponga has a looked good rushing the passer during camp. Another under the radar pass rusher whos been beasting is jacques smith. We got some cuts to make at linebacker. I dont think we will be that bad rushing the passer. my biggeat concern was relying on our safeties (decoud) to stop runners who break free untouched through the line. That wont happen as much with the dline changes we made.

im excited about this bernard reedy guy whos been lighting it up at wr as well.

Rejoice brother, that bum DeCoud is now a Carolina p*ssy Cat :blessed:

Like I said I don't expect much of a pass rush from the edge, any pass rush we'll get will be from up the gut
