Hes not ready to start yet...Not if TLC keeps playing the way he played the second half of the season..
Our biggest need is a shooter/ scorer who can average 15-17 ppg, and can hit 3's.

He averaged 18 pts in the last couple of months in the season & seriously improved his shot from 3. Plays damn good defense too.. How is he not ready to start? He's definitely earned the right to prove if he can keep the starting SG spot next year!Hes not ready to start yet...

If we looking at hometown players, Id take Waiters over Lowry right now...

With the way the East looks we don't need Kyle fukkIN Lowry to make the playoffs next year..
We won 29 games with Embiid playing 33 games and Simmons sitting out. The 8th seed this year won 41 games. I don't think we need Lowry to get those additional wins to make the offs
He's gonna want a max. He's already 31. No thanks.
If we have to sign a stopgap PG I hope it's Jrue.

I'm not with picking up an undersized, aging PG who's game is non-existent in the playoffs. If we're going to hand out max contracts, hand them to cats that truly have max talent! Not because you're scared of teams that haven't even made it to the playoffs themselves yet..Charlotte, Miami and Detroit are all getting lottery picks, it's not a sure thing next year that they'd make the playoffs.
And that guarantees nothing because it's a young team, the Jazz won 38 games 2 years ago, a year later they won 40. Just because you win 29 doesn't mean you build on that success and jump to 40+ wins the next year, the Sixers will be depending on a rookie to run their offense, and a 2nd year player who has played 33 games.
If you want to make the playoffs, Lowry is a sure thing to get you there.
Jrue wouldn't be a stop gap, he'd be your starting PG for the next several years and would want to reup when he's 30 as well. With Lowry, he's coming towards the end of his career and transitioning the team over to a younger PG would be a lot easier than trying to convince Jrue to come off the bench when he's got another chance at a max deal 4 years from now.
Also, Jrue is going to have a lot more suitors, and truth be told he shot the 3 like hot garbage this year.
Please Colangelo don't over think this pick if any combination of Ball, Fultz, or Jackson are on the board you take em.
That's what I'm afraid ofThem niccas not drafting Josh and it will haunt us. fukk....
