The organization just gave him a shout and he got his banner raised. The Process will live on.

fukk that, Hinkie should still be here. Guiding the process along. This idiot Colangelo has made nothing but retarded moves since stepping in, only thing saving us is that Hinkie's plan was so damn butter that it's damn near idiot proof for at least 10 years.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
It wouldn't shock me if the Celtics love Jackson over Fultz. Ainge always views things different that what people expect. He liked Durant over Oden. He picked Jaylen Brown when people thought he would take Dunn. He picked Rondo over Marcus Williams.

Lakers are taking Ball.

So in that scenario Fultz will be there.

However, ask yourself this. If the Celtics said they'd give you the #1 pick for the #3 pick and Saric would you do it?
@Malta :hubie:

I'd give up Saric and the 3 for Fultz, no question, they are going to have a log jam at the 3 & 4 very soon, they need high level guard play.

Holmes, Simmons, Covington, Saric and then Jackson?

Yea they figure something out. However, Sixers tend to take best available so I think Jackson is a lock if they don't trade.

I think next year's draft is heavy at the 3 and 4 as well :patrice:

If I were them, I'd seriously consider trading down and getting Frank Ntilikina as he's pretty much exactly what they will need from the 1 in the long term.

I like Josh Jackson but I just don't see how he fits with their roster, and there's virtually no way they actually play Simmons at the 1, he's going to be used like every other Point Forward & Big playmaker. They can say he'll play PG, but he damn sure won't be defending that position so finding someone that can should be the top priority.

I mean if you're going to take Jackson under the premise of hoping he learns how to shoot, you may as well just draft Fox with that same mindset. Next years draft is 3s and 4s, there's Duval & Sexton though, and Philly would LOVE Sexton's personality.

If they aren't going to get fultz, ball, Jackson, they should trade down for the kings 5 and 10

We don't need to trade down, take Jackson, Monk, or Smith and move on

New Jersey in a new jersey
What he say
He was real vague but when Missineli asked about Embiid's quote about the Sixers potentially becoming the team to beat sooner than later, Colangelo's response seemed as if he's not fully out of the tank mindset.

Ben Simmons will be the PG he said he will dominate the ball and run the offense (no problem with that :yeshrug:)

He didn't gaunrantee any of the players are off minutes or back to back game restrictions.

Trading the pick is an option
