are probably making the playoffs for sure. Indiana and Chicago are definitely not making it. If Millsap doesn't return the Hawks will be lottery too. Who else is there? The Nets are trash. Magic are trash. Knicks are a mess. It just leaves Charlotte and Detroit, who are stagnant right now. Sixers can make the playoffs if they stay reasonably healthy.

Eastern Conference Finals with Embiid healthy

Still not sure this is a playoff team, it's tough to expect basically 2 rookies and a bunch of young guys to turn around a losing product and just waltz into the playoffs but I am happy that y'all have some young talent and are relevant in the NBA again. :salute: to y'all brehs

If Embiid is healthy they make the playoffs, he's basically Rudy Gobert on defense and the ability to score 30.

This is a much more competitive roster but nothing the Sixers have assembled screams automatic playoff team. I like JJ for shooting and Amir for being a professional who can help mentor but even if they are completely healthy they are still starting a rookie PG and Simmons is a rookie as well. You don't lose at the level they've lost at in the last few years and just get a playoff spot on talent

Breh, it's all about Embiid, he is a generational player and it all comes down to his health. They were + with him on the floor and had a top 5 defense when he played, they now have better players in their starting 5. This isn't KAT, Boogie or Davis, this is an elite rim protector that can score in isolation and stretch the floor, if he's healthy they make it.

Born and raised in Philly/NJ.

Never really followed the 76ers like a FAN, but always rooted for their success.

This team, though....for me, they're about the most exciting prospect for a team they've had in DECADES. Lookin forward to seeing how they gel.

If Embiid plays even 60 games, he will be a LEGIT MVP candidate....he won't win, but he'll be top 5 in the discussion all year....IF, again, he can get to about 60 games, IMO.

I wonder if Brett Brown remembers how to coach, since he hasn't had to do anything the past 5 years
He coached us to 28 wins with a Euro rookie being our best player and an unheralded Covington, and several more games where we held our own against top talent...
His coaching not a concern

We'll see. I still don't see enough shooting on this roster or great depth on this roster. And as I've said they're asking a lot of rookies...it's a lot to also ask them to lead them to a playoff spot. I get Embiid is a beast but even with him healthy my concerns with Philly are still there. So to me this is a roster that is gonna compete, will look very good but probably be too inconsistent to seriously get a playoff spot. But I wish the Sixers well and hopefully Embiid plays the whole season and we see how far they can go

I think people sleeping on Simmons.
Even if Embiid don't make it the whole season we still can make the playoffs.

Ben bout to be a high light reel nightly
THIS!
Embiid is that dude, but nikkas are forgetting.. Ben can be his own version of what Jo was last year. Embiid is not the only transcendent talent on this roster. You can just look at some players & see that *IT* with 'em. Ben (along with Jo) is one of those cats! If I'm wrong, I'm wrong.. But, I like his chances.
