If we trade Okafor we trade Okafor. fukk It! I'm sick of this being a topic. Which one stays, which one goes. Just rip the damn band-aid off already. :aicmon:
We still have Ben, JoJo, Nerlens, Dario, & future picks. I ain't trippin! :manny:
True. I love Nerlens and prefer him over Okafor but if he's the one to go then ::manny: It is what it is at this point

I just want to move on from this shyt :why:

We gotta keep all the bigs until we know what's up with Embiid he's never played more than 20 mpg hasn't even played ball a long time and had 2 years off, I hope he's as great as everyone says but we can't make a trade til we know for sure. And even then I don't want to trade Okafor he could be great.

Bayless 15/SROD 15/TJ

GHen 15/Stauskas 15/Luwawu 15/HT/Paul

Simmons 35/Covington 19/Grant 15

Okafor 28/Saric 20/Holmes/CL

Noel 28/Embiid 20

It can work minutes wise Ben can play the point, 20 mins for Saric and Embiid is fine, I like Holmes and TJ but they gotta sit. Play a bunch of dudes 15 mins hopefully somebody emerges earns more minutes or they suck we give more minutes to saric at 3 and covington at 2. Trade Landry and cut hollis. We not making a title run this year no need to build the perfect lineup now let em play see what works

Dumb ass franchise see why we haven't won shyt in 30 years. You want to trade a 20 year old stud because you have too many bigs wtf.

Embiid is a walking career injury away and Noel can't gain 5 pounds can't catch the ball can't score can't rebound consistently just disappointed man.

Noel averaged more rebounds than Okafor and played way better defense but I'll let you ignore that :mjlol: Okafor had 17 and 7 tho:mjpls:

One rebound more and ok he a great defensive big man but you can find those anywhere.
Give me 20 and 10 any day from my big
Chris Webber in his last full year for the sixers averaged 20 and 10 man...... As we know, he wasnt even close to the same chris webber, so sorry, 20 and 10 can be deceiving...

Also with all these bigs and lack of minutes, and him not being a good rebounder, I guarantee if hes on the team next year, okafor doesnt even get 9 rebounds a game, nevermind 10

CWEBB was old as shyt and doesn't have the potential of Okafor. The kid is fukking 20 years old and okay he not a good rebounder or defender as of yet but good coaching or schemes can fix that or cover that weakness.

Per 100 possessions the kid averages 28 points a game and per 36 minutes he averages over 21 points a game. When he got a true PG in Ish smith his fg percentage jumped to over 60 plus percent and his final 10 games were impressive.

Emotional responses like these ain't a good look breh :francis:

And schemes and good coaching don't fix a dude's inability or lack of desire to play defense or rebound

I say fukk Noel because people have these high standards for the dude when he is garbage. He hasn't improve but actually declined since he played first year and that's only two years in. Simmons need a scorer on the court and having Okafor will make him better. I don't understand why Brett Brown wants to run shyt don't win unless you have a team of shooters

Im just saying, 20 and 10 can be decieving, that was the point of the webber quote....

Here is where i am with Okafor.. Either your whole team has to revolve around him, or he just isnt that important. If you want to do a 4 and 1 with okafor on offense, and like a serge ibaka type at the four, that would be the best place he can succeed. Otherwise, hes just a black hole in the post that has a high usage rate and doesnt work at high efficiency, even though he scores....

Dude is Al Jefferson, Brook Lopez, Enes Kanter status man, and those guys never have won anything being a starter...

I would rather have Noel, his comparison goes along the lines of tyson chandler, and he is already just as good as byombo... That is the type of player that can fit along a lot of lineups.. He gives you flexibility... I think we can both agree neither is going to be a superstar, so with that said, why not just go with the guy who just fits better?

You actually can't just find a great defensive big man anywhere.

Look at the teams that ended up in the conference finals. All of them had one thing in common. Biyombo, Tristan, Adams, and Draymond. All big men that can protect the rim. The center position in today's NBA is primarily a defensive one. You can't win titles nowadays with a defensive sieve at the 5 spot; I don't care if he averages 25 and 12. That's why I've always been okay with trading Okafor.

This.

Noel doesn't need the ball to be productive and can play in almost any lineup. With Okafor you kinda have to build the team around him with a 4 out 1 in offense which our roster doesn't currently suit us for :yeshrug:
