We arent talking about HIP HOP birth. We are talking about who has the most accomplishments as a producer.

OK

Kanye

Best song on that forgettable Dynasty album
Made the Blueprint
Has successful solo albums that could be debated as classics
Legendary production on songs like Lucifer, Stand up, Dreams, Down,
nikka, COMMON'S BE ALBUM. I DON"T EVEN HAVE TO CONTINUE
And he has good R&B songs. He may not be as proficient in that area as Timbo, but hes done good work with Keys, Brandy, Legend, Monica, Keyshia Cole, etc

Timbo

Solid Jodeci remixes
Great work on Aaliyah 2nd LP
Great work on Pony, Missy album
Legendary Big Pimpin track

2000 on garbage. He did some awful weird shyt for Nas, Lox, Snoop, etc. He had a few sparks here like Bubba Spark deliverance and a few Timberlake tracks but the early 2000's Timbo production was wack. He didn't come back until furtado and future sex.(and we know that was because he was with danja) And he hasn't produced any hip hop classics since.(and hes honestly never been a strong hip hop producer since he barely worked with anyone outside Magoo, Missy, and Jay) Nor has he produced anything close to that 06 period when he was with Danja. Was horrible on the BP3 and then had the nerve to leak shyt like it was fire. And do I need to mention his embarrassing phase were he try to do rock music?

I feel bad you typed all that.. wasnt convincing

again, Timbaland had an era. His sound changed radio when he came to the forefront.

I feel insulted at you digging for those records. We talking about comparing records to what Timbaland and Pharrel did outside of hip hop and you up those??... Come on man..
You just said post R&B hits :yeshrug: no way I'm comparing Ye's R&B's feats to Pharrell's & Timbo they've got him beat in that category in terms of hits but he did put on John Legend.

Changed radio? In what way? I can pinpoint that Kanyes work on the dynasty and old Harlem World albums resulted directed in the heatmakerz, Just Blaze, bink, arab and a dozen other cookie cutter producers recreating that soul sample in the early 2000's. Only people I can think of as huge as timbo during his peak were swizz beats and trackmasters and those guys don't sound anything like what timbaland was doing. Doesn't matter tho. Timboland doesn't have a masterpiece on the level of Be nor anything as ambitious as 808 and heatbreak. Thats non debatable

In terms of what I listen to today, I could do without Dre easily :yeshrug:
It's not even close for me really, the last time i listened to any beats by dre was the compton album and i don't think i'm ever visiting that again :mjlol:
