Pharrel doesn't have a classic under his name so :camby:

man timbaland is responsible for transitioning aaliyah from being with ol' chester ass r kelly to being a serious r&b superstar with her sophmore album.

he also gave ginuwine the midas touch as well.
yeah i know, he worked magic

And Pharrell did? Lmao

And please don't say the Clips because the Clips were dope for their lyrical ability, not because of their beats. Timberland made terrible rappers sound dope as fukk.

This is the goofiest shyt ever. Nobody ever claimed clipse were great lyricist Pharrell single handidly carried them on their first project through their repetitive dope talk. No one gave a fukk about anything they said on Grinding, when the last time, etc. Pusha didn''t become semi nice until HHNF. Malice has always been borderline average. HHNF is a classic (or was I think a lot of dudes will revise that 5 mic) because of Pharrell production(his peak) Those dudes wouldn't have been shyt with Pharrell. Timbaland doesn't have a hip hop project on par of HHNF, some of Snoops early 2000 shyt, etc

People really defending Pharrell on the strength of the Clipse?

This one was probably one of the easiest ones for me.
