Man, assuming this is true, I find it hard to believe these 2 men didn't share wisdom and advice with each other.

This shyt is corny. Speak face to face like grown men. I'm not even interested in a battle on wax. Not between these 2.
I kinda of agree but I feel like jay z was fake with ye and he used him the whole time and felt very different than how he showed ye....... no disrespect to jay but he strikes me as a user and he only cares about his first crew he grew up with...... everyone else is extra

:mjlol: At Kanye trying to respond to Jay, he'll get cooked on the mic
Yeah, he doesn't want that. He's not even that type of rapper. I look at Kanye as like a total artist. I like what he brings to the table musically. I've never seen him as a rapper that will go at your throat on a record, and I never will. He's really dope, but that's not his lane at all.

I definitely agree. I'm pretty sure Jay never wanted to sign him as a rapper, and Dame was the one that finally caved. Jay didn't even credit Kanye on Blueprint 2 on The Bounce.

I think Kanye's popularity surprised Jay, and then Jay just had to take accept it, and then they kept the relationship professional. One of the reasons I didn't love the Watch the Throne album as much as some people, is because it felt like an album they made because they thought it would be a good idea. Not because the chemistry was there. IMO their chemistry is best when Jay is rapping and Kanye is producing. But Kanye didn't even produce most of that album, and it felt more like a Kanye album featuring Jay. I'm rambling now.

The point is that I agree with your take on things. The only thing I'd say is that there are two sides to every story, and I hope they work it out instead of doing some battle type of thing.

Yea Kanye isn't a confrontational dude, he should just try to talk to Jay if he feels a certain way
