That's definitely true too. Having a beat on a Jay album in the 90's/00's could make a career for you, and even though Just Blaze and Bink also put in heavy work, Kanye is often credited with being the blueprint for Blueprint. That was definitely major, and did a lot for his career.

Kanye could easily drop a better album IMO. 4:44 is really good but the rapping feels awkward or "off" at times. Kanye has more experience making heart felt shyt, if he's in the right mental state and surrounded by the right musicians (not just who is trendy) he can do it.

Knowing the position that Jay is in..up against Iovine and Apple with more people waiting in the wings to tear him down publicly, going on stage and implying that Jay Z is sanctioning murder is a bad look and far beyond Jay declining to be apart of his reality show.
