Threads like this are hilarious because you find the people who didn't watch the shyt their trying to argue about :heh:

Dipo was doing fine last season & then got hurt a couple times. He wasn't driving to the rim like he is now after he came back because he seemed afraid of getting hurt again, so he just drifted shooting jumpers & not being aggressive enough even when he was on the floor without Russy. Beyond that a lot of the time he was the same inconsistent guy he always was before OKC.

But I'm sure everybody here knew that because clearly everybody here was watching a fukk ton of Orlando games when he was there.

4 former OKC players all flourishing on other teams, and those former OKC players are exactly what the current Thunder team need for their bench :mjlol:OKC is gonna be stuck with Patrick Patterson and Raymond Felton once PG leaves for LA and Melo opts out for Houston or Portland :laff:
Might be time to admit Westbrook is Iverson 2.0 :yeshrug:

Sabonis balling out so far too. 12 and 9 on 64% shooting for the Pacers.

Kanter just dropped a 16 and 19 game where he had NINE offensive boards. 14 and 9 on 60% shooting so far this season.

Adams, of course, still rolling with 13 and 8 on 62% shooting right now.

Taj looks to me like he lost a step and might be starting his decline this season, but still put up 11 and 10 on his old team the other night.

The idea that Westbrook drug some talentless squad to the playoffs was always a stupid one, and the further we get away from the moment the more ordinary it's going to look. Between Adams, Kanter, Taj, and Sabonis, Thunder had one of the strongest big men groups in the league. Add in Oladipo, Robertson, and McDermott on the wings and Westbrook on the point, and there was easily enough versatility on that team to be a lower-end playoff squad. (People talking shyt about Grant and Abrines while ignoring they talkin bout the 9th and 10th men.) The main thing they missed was a viable backup point guard. #7 in the West and an easy first-round exit is exactly where they belonged.

p.s. - on a squad with dominant rebounders like Adams, Kanter, Taj, and Sabonis, the fact that Westbrook was using that much energy each game chasing 10 boards has got to be one of the dumbest priorities by a player in recent history. YOUR TEAM IS LOADED WITH GREAT REBOUNDERS. Try at least half-assing it on defense instead.
I was saying all this last year. People are so dumb and simply follow the ESPN narrative their surprised when shyt like this happens.

Oladipo was never trash

When are you going to take this back?
Take what back? Did you even watch the Thunder last season? Did you not see Oladipo performing well before he got injured?

Nobody wants to acknowledge what really happened, they just want to push their agenda(s) against Westbrook - @The Dankster, @GilSho, @DonKnock, @LÍQUIDO.

Here's an example for you - @DonKnock tagged and quoted me multiple times last season (even made a thread about me), about how great Harden was - "the best PG in league", how he was gonna win MVP and great he was gonna perform in the PS. All the while taking shots at me in the process. The minute Harden had his playoff collapse, he disappears, I put my foot on his neck and then he puts me on ignore and acts like the innocent victim.

Now @The Dankster is out here because he doesn't want to admit that his agenda against Westbrook has him making up blatant lies - saying Oladipo was a "mental wreck" because of Westbrook, and how Westbrook constantly put Oladipo in "terrible positions all season long" - basically blaming him for why Oladipo was inconsistent. That is factually untrue. Oladipo was performing well until he got multiple injuries (his back injury actually gave him the chance to properly rest his other lingering injury - Thunder journal: Back injury gave Oladipo's wrist a rest). And funnily enough, despite all that, Oladipo still had his most efficient season playing next to Westbrook. Now @The Dankster is attacking this from every angle he possibly can to slight Westbrook, instead of just being honest. This whole thread was created to shyt on Westbrook, it wasn't made to talk about Oladipo's play - he was just used as a vessel to get to Westbrook.

This is the type of shyt I have to deal with.

Westbrook can’t play off the ball. He needs an ‘01 Philly team around him to be most successful with him as the top option.
You should know already by now, by how much I've talked Westbrook's bad play (particularly around his triple-doubles), I just don't feel the need to lie about shyt like blaming him for Oladipo's inconsistent performances last season. How the hell are we supposed to have a genuine discussion about his play when dudes make up lies to push their agendas? And that's exactly what @The Dankster is doing in here.

Now I'm the bad guy for trying to get folks to acknowledge what really happened, instead of being sheep and following bullshyt.
