The cultures you named a very patriarchal and insular. I hear you tho. We need balance. I think the rampant of over sexualization of everything is bad but I also feel like putting such a tight leash on a kid makes them a very loose person later on.

I don't disagree that parenting is a factor, but there are a lot of other factors. A lot of women in these groups around the world don't have high speed internet, fast smartphones, or a lot of private idle time- 3 key ingredients for online thottery

The hedonism/nihilism that you see around you is a result of a cultural paradigm that grew from certain ideas.
