They got the life, the HS ones got it made, they don't have to worry about little kids running around screaming and can just roll some balls out onto the floor and that's it. No grading Homework, once they're done with work for the day they're completely done.

Umm the health part? Sex ed? Nutrition? And some teach exercise science in-between gym classes.

When you're 1st getting in is when you're the busiest IMO. The only other time was when I was doing straight project work. nikkas had me in meetings from 8-5PM 5 days a weeks :francis:

baby, that was the old me
No it doesn't because more than likely it won't teach you what a level 1 help desk/pc tech should know. I learned more studying for my A+ and CCNA than I learned at going through the 5 year BS IT program at my state university.

That's why i dropped out of college my Sr. year while on the deans list. College was a waste of fukking time and money. Had I skipped it altogether I would have less debt and would be further along in my career.

The average IT degree does not prepare people you for the job market (I had friends with their degree who couldn't even get a job and I was making 65k with just 3 certs. I went through a 5 year IT program and had one class on Cisco and one Class on AD. Everything else they taught us was absolute trash:scust:

Say it say ain't so:damn:

I'm not wasting my time & money... No I ain't. If they teach u shyt, at least the degree name had to have gave u a lil boost, right?

It don't. My best friend in college said she was about to start stripping cause she couldn't get a job. She had her BS in IT :wow:

I peeped game when I was a freshman. I looked through all the classes I would take over my degree and compared what I would learn to an entry level job description.

I literally had the :dahell: look on my face. I remember going to class and telling nikkas they ain't teaching us shyt but nobody listened :manny:

your acting like you still can't join them...

some certs only take 3 months and will have you starting at 70k.....

:ohhh:What kind of certs are you talking about?

Im studying right now and a lot of it is theoretical. Interesting but doesnt have much to do with the average company job except general problem solving.
