Why would a player with an injury history do that. At this point it's clearly LA or TO. Kawhi on LAL is closer to a title than TO next season. That & he gets a long term deal in case of injury, he not KD. If he tear an Achilles teams not gone be as willing to wait.

You either a Lebron stan or LA fan. This would be a smart move on Kawhi's part because the training staff in Toronto did him right and took care of his load management through the season. With the East making these big changes and BKN being putting on ice for a year. along with Philly and Bucks getting weaker. This is a no brainer for Kawhi. He also knows that Masai will make in season trades to improve that team if need be.
