Do you think the gangster thugged out mentality amongst Black men out numbers the hard-working self-respecting Blackmen? On average I think the majority of us are law-abiding citizens that want the best for our community.Besides,most of these self destructive idiots are followers so once they see a collective effort amongst black people rejecting their gangster agenda they will start to change.
Honestly I don't think were outnumbered by the ignorant amongst us. As long as we keep rejecting what they offer it will go away.
At age 27 I understand and know the type of black men out there for apart of the problem.
Anything short of organizing a collective army willing to confront these idiots won't change anything.

A lot of the after school programs have gone, there aren't that many jobs, and there aren't many outlets for the young people to put their energy into.
That's how parents in suburban areas keep their kids busy. They enroll them in soccer and they do a bunch of activities to keep them busy. Its a different story in these neighborhoods.
I would certainly hope that hard working men constitute the majority of us. You still have brothers that may be law abiding and hard working but still take part in the whole gangster/thug culture. Which basically solidifies my point of it being a cultural and social issue. The self destructive idiots run rampant through our communities because the majority of us sit back and cower when it comes to confronting them. And while Rome burns (meaning the black community), we come up with a million excuses that justify their actions and behavior. We do this all in an attempt to rid ourselves from the fear of having to take accountability for our own communities and cleaning them up.It would involve us rolling up our sleeves and putting in that real WORK. Which many don't want to do.
I agree that if more of us came out hiding and organized to confront all the destructive elements, many would follow through. Right now we are like a scared puppy with his tail tucked in between his legs. We don't stand up against ANYTHING. And that includes much more than just the whole thug/gangster culture. This includes the pimp vulture-like creature preachers who regularly pimp our elderly and women. The foreign owned monopolies that have rendered us economically irrelevant in our communities. The corrupt politicians who've exploited our political ignorance to fatten their own pockets. These are ALL major issues too. And they ALL go hand in hand with our ongoing demise. We need a collective unit to not only confront criminals but the elements as well.
Will it happen? I hope so. The challenge is still trying to get black men and women on board to see that these are issues in the first place.
