they just did a segment on chanel west coast and talked about how she had some mixtape release party and they played a clip of tryin' to rap, that shyt was by far some of the worst shyt i've ever heard :laff:

the problem with hip hop is everybody and they mama think they can rap and they can't. it's too many damn cooks in the kitchen and you got 1 too many people who ain't got a lick of talent tryin' to jump in and be apart of it

i've said it before but the third (i believe this is my 3rd time sayin' this :lolbron::manny::yeshrug:) times the charm, i'm done with shyt. i don't even know what to make of this new world of "hip hop" and rap music. the shyt is like a comedy skit except nobody is laughin', they actually eatin' the shyt up and lovin' it up. i guess that's just the way of the world now when it comes to "hip hop" and rap music now :francis:

yeah.... it's just crazy to look around and see just how much of a joke hip hop has really become. i mean, the best way i can describe it is a comedy sketch or parody skit from a show like living color or madtv :snoop:

see, i don't even keep up with muthafukkas like keef and soulja. i hear the names and all but i don't listen to that shyt at all :camby:

And it wasn't back in the fukking 90s? When dudes was walking around in shiny suits and leather red overalls?:stopitslime:

Further fukking more, music back in the 90s was over saturated with a ton of dudes who thought they could rap, the only difference was that we didn't have the platform for them to record and upload freely like now. Nonetheless, its easy to find a lot of EPs released through labels because execs were looking to cash in on gangsta rap.:stopitslime:

I wish those old blogspots was still up, cause they were full of these tapes, and even the ones that were dope often fell in hyperbolic gangsta cliches like a fukking joke.:stopitslime:

it got bad in the late 90's but hip hop and rap music of today is by far worst in my honest opinion. i've said this before but hip hop and rap music really ain't been shyt since like 96'. i'm talkin' bout as a movement across the board. like the overall movement. you've had wack muthafukkas no matter the era but it's far more wack muthafukkas now than ever before. it started gettin' wack in the late 90's, and the flood gates opened in the 2000s and we ain't never recovered

A bad 90's rapper would rap circles around todays goofs. I will maintain that the culture policed itself. It's up to the 00's and 90's babies to block trash from the game. This generation allows everything to get play
