man, shut up. i knew yo ass was gon come crawlin' outta whatever hole you was hidin' up in![]()
it got bad in the late 90's but hip hop and rap music of today is by far worst in my honest opinion. i've said this before but hip hop and rap music really ain't been shyt since like 96'. i'm talkin' bout as a movement across the board. like the overall movement. you've had wack muthafukkas no matter the era but it's far more wack muthafukkas now than ever before. it started gettin' wack in the late 90's, and the flood gates opened in the 2000s and we ain't never recovered

well, this is a hip hop forum and we discuss hip hop and things that pertain to it, whether it be real or fake. so i'm just statin' what i think and how i look at the shyt
but i know some might not agree with me and that's cool. but if it's some wack shyt, i call it like it is![]()
Keep it moving then and leave it behind.
I literally spent a year of high school browsing various blogspots created by eastern European cats who only posted rare music from cities you often don't hear about like Detroit or New Orleans (and nah this wasn't NL or CM shyt either)
We remember the highlights of gangsta rap like Mobb Deep in the east, Three 6 in Memphis, or Snoop n the west, but it was a million mfs doing a poor job of ripping off the themes and sounds of the aforementioned artists.
I did it. I'm talking about musicians like Gank Move, Jezreel, or Black Hole Posse, groups that y'all never heard of from the 90s cause they was WHACK regardless of what generation they in.

see but way back in the day, the great music outweighed the bad. there was far more great music than there was shytty music. today, it's the opposite. today it's far more bullshyt than it is great music
i been there, i use to be one of those muthafukkas who use to be on the blogs, lookin' for new shyt and yeah, not everythin' was tight but it was like this horse shyt of today. like i said, it's like a damn joke now and has been for yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears.
i'll just keep it movin'. this shyt they doin' today and have been for years now ain't for me![]()
Some people are biased to the point where they get banned for stating a logical opinion. I agree that the rap game got too damn accessible for the weak ass people to learn.
Just listen to Blu and his affiliiates and Kanye and his affilliates and youll be gravy.

Agree to disagree. It was a lotta bullshyt and a lot of the music had more violent and extreme content than today.
Look, if I told you Rich Homie Quan freestyled talking about child support and seeing his son go to college, you wouldn't believe me. But even the 'jokes' of today have spectacular moments of impeccable introspection littered throughout discographies that are incredibly well produced and catchy.
Stay sleep tho yall![]()

agree to disagree
i'm over this hip hop and rap shyt![]()
Does it also mean u done with the booth? Gone then, bruh.
one thing i still enjoy is listenin' to interviews from veterans and legends in the game
