I love my parents to death but I couldnt stay with them. I am an Atheist and they devoutly believe in God (and made me go to church every time i lived there). Plus the social hit your life takes living with parents is a burden as well.

Same with me. Its good to stay when your shyt is together before you get out. I love my privacy too. I got one of those nosy mom's.

i live with moms rent in new york is 2k a month, fukk i look like paying 2k plus utilities plus car insurance thats damn near 3k a month in bills plus my momma cook and got a laundry at the crib I plan on moving to like md or atl something next year after i graduate school cause their rent is affordable new york is tripping my savings lit stack chips till u find a girl u wanna marry

I moved out at 28 with over 200k saved, but I still vouch for people to save and take their time. Other cultures do that and they kicking the average American raised minority ass by a wide margin in terms of wealth.

If you're stayin home to stack money and save, then that's totally fine. Honestly enjoy your parents, we won't have them forever. If my dad lived closer to the city I coulda seen myself living with him for awhile at one point, but my work commute woulda been 90 minutes or more.

BUT if you're living at home, you better be actually saving some money, instead of spending $1,000 on clothes every month because you don't gotta put that money towards rent.

I got a couple homies who work and still live at home. One of them always be talkin how he's broke, I'm talkin like I don't have $5 to throw on pizza until I get paid next week BROKE. And I'm like you ain't got no bills, where the hell is that paycheck goin to?

I moved back in with my parents later last year because a past relationship I had fuked me up financially. Living at home 33 years old is WOAT. I am helping with caring for older parents with aliments but my mom is controlling and overbearing, a hoarder, and always wanna know when im coming home and where I am at. My pops is messy as hell, a low key laid back but beta type who lets my mom run shyt, and his aliments and meds have him sleeping a lot and very lethargic. I gotta constantly clean up after him and hear my mom fuss constantly about him and everything else.

I cant wait til I am able to save up enough and move back out. Plus it takes a toll on u mentally and socially staying with ur prarents being 25+ in age. How can I date quality women who got their shyt together and own places when I am still with my family.
