I hate this framing because it doesn’t address republicans refusing to govern, nor does it address the fact the 1.2 trillion is inadequate and doesn’t do anything really to accomplish our goals. Which btw was done on purpose. Stuff like this is why Americans are idiots about politics no one is ever giving a full truthful story and republicans are always given the benefit of doubt despite actively sabotaging the country
