I think people who think lol means they literally have to laugh about something are awkward and weird as fukk. It simply is a gesture for those who are bad at sarcasm or in general bad at reading light heartedness in a comment.

Great video and great thread OP. One of the first signs of manipulation I noticed was the fact that so much money was spent on advertising.
For example, Super bowl commercials can be up to 4 million dollars for JUST thirty seconds of screentime. It's always been about getting us to buy shyt through suggestion and imagery look at the commercials for sodas or anything popular nowadays which usually include attractive people walking around sipping it selling you that image of what's it like drinking the beverage.

this is true. simplifying something complex takes high level skill. BUT some of the shyt promoted is just "simplistic" which is where i think the OP is coming from.
kemetic hieroglyphs are simplistic abstractions of complex shapes. IOS smilies are just simple as fukk. I'm not saying i'm completely onboard with what OP saying, but he could be on to something
