but ironically you may also be right about the 1970s because it’s inevitable that if Trump wins re-election and they regain the house, Roe V Wade is being repealed. I know that has nothing to do with a judicial matter but a conservative government makes it less likely that the repeal is fought

if you remember the original Roe V Wade decision came in the 70s so a reversal outlawing abortion would have a polar opposite reaction than what happened in the 70s
