I really don't care but
As leaders these folk so embarrassing....
So much shyt going on socially and economically in your country yet these bald head pot bellied fools got time for this?
Yea aaight...
It's the equivalent of trying to run out the clock in a sport. Americans do it too. People are dying because they have to ration out their insulin, people are homeless because they have chronic health conditions that prevent them from getting entry level jobs and the government benefits they get aren't enough to pay for the average rent in a city. They can't even save up enough money to move because they have to spend what little they get on food and medicine and clothing--the prices of which keep going up.

We have serious economic and health crises and that's to say nothing about the guillotine blade of climate change that is inching closer and closer to humanity's collective neck but they'll fundraise and waste precious resources on political theatre like jailing queer people. When you don't want to deal with problems that affect everyone you try to target a specific group(s) with legislation that ultimately achieves nothing.

If you even take less than 5 seconds to apply logic you realize how worthless this is. Yes, lets arrest gay people and put them all in the same place(prison) to stop them from...having sex with other gay people. You're taking people OUT of the economy to put them IN a building where tax dollars fund their food and board so they can focus purely on having sex with each other all day with very limited 'prevention' from the guards in the prison. You can't make it make sense unless you're purely motivated by hate and emotion over some shyt you really don't have to give a fukk about unless you've had homosexual thoughts you're fighting within yourself and think that if you feel there are consequences for you acting on your gay tendencies you're less likely to do it.

This is the consequence of people putting their own neuroses and anxiety on to other people who don't feel the same way. They assume others feel that way and it's very telling that he's using the language of men having sex with men and not focusing on the fact that lesbians exist. I don't feel anxiety, disgust, or anger when I see two queers in the street. I feel nothing. The vast majority of people are the same. They have real problems to worry about.

The story behind how American Evangelicals exported homophobia to Uganda

By Brandon Ambrosinobrandon@vox.com May 19, 2014, 10:30am EDT

Roger Ross Williams, Director & producer of 'God Loves Uganda' Mark Yankus

Earlier this year, Uganda's president Yoweri Museveni signed the country's controversial Anti Homosexuality bill into law. Broadening existing sodomy laws already on the books, the new legislation criminalizes engagement in or promotion of homosexuality. Though many have traced the roots of this law back to the anti-gay messages of some American evangelical missionaries, one of the most vocal proponents of this thesis is Roger Ross Williams, the Academy Award-winning filmmaker behind God Loves Uganda. His 2013 film tells the story of how Americans — both abrasive political leaders and fresh-faced kids from the Midwest — exported their anti-gay culture wars to Ugandan soil.

Unfortunately, It’s going to take a while in places like Uganda to change minds and hearts.

I only hope for the safety of the LGBTQ community in places like Uganda, they don’t let the LGBTQ in the west put a battery in their back. :dame: Because they willl leave them hanging if shyt hits the fan.
