I binged this documetary on Season 1. shyt is dope as fukk but also at the same time, it makes me so sad especially these ages.

Ref vs Coach fight had me :deadmanny:

DJ Law :snoop: especially he has a son..... :smh: He shouldn't have swing back and this is what another team wanted. Coaches been trying to tell them that they will try to get them trouble and they did. Of course, I knew these kids wouldn't listen to them.

The advisor can get it and she actually really cares about them but at the same time. She wanna be a "White Hero" on some the Blind Side movie. Wouldn't be surprised if she got some pipe by some players.

im not really a football fan but i've worked in education and i like watching these football-as-religion shows if for nothing other than the accents and how seriously people take the sport

when i heard kam talk i knew he was from the DC area :heh: and then Tim Bonner, who is the countriest guy this side of mississippi slim, was making fun of his accent :russ:

this season had more damaged kids than season 1.

dudes who came out looking like STARS are Dakota Allen and Coach Williams :wow: like i said, not a fan of the sport, but i will support those two wherever they go

i know Kam's HS english teacher and the kid is traumatized and insecure
Isaiah Wright deserves better than D2. and is a smart kid.
The OC doesn't even coach anymore, was Buddy calling the plays? because i dont see how you go from that level of success to not even coaching unless you were just the smiling filter between Buddy's dumbass demeanor (but possibly talented playcalling) and players

It ain't bout what you deserve, it's about the whole picture. Academics, attitude, ability, how the coaches feel about you, etc. I agree, Buddy got on Isaiah too hard, but Isaiah did some dumb shyt and whined a bit too. Coaches talk, coaches are friends, if my homie at EMCC tells me don't bring player Y to my school I won't bring him. Buddy could tell every coach that came thru the door "Dont take him" and just like that he won't have any offers. It's like Davern did with Kam after the fight when the coach from Delta State was there. That didnt matter because Kam is a Power 5 Conference player, but had it been Coach Sims (old DL coach at Pitt), he probably wouldn't have ended up at Pitt.

D2 aint even bad, West Georgia has been a dominant D2 school the past few years, you can make it to the league from there. Hell, they had 2 draft picks this year, UGA only had 1. But he isnt on their roster, not sure where he is now

yeah he was outta line sometimes but that's on buddy imo, breh is supposed to be guiding him to a D1 scholarship, he fukked up bad with him

i was gonna ask if he still had a shot at the pros. that last sentence in your post hurt my heart a lil :mjcry:

He committed around signing day, but I havent been able to find anything about him signing. I hope he plays somewhere. Dude got talent to ball out on that level
