Buddy just didnt like Isaiah. Thats really all it is. Coaches stay getting pissed at players when they get hurt .

This show just proves how making it in football is bullshyt. The players that make it dont deserve it. No way Kam should have a D1 offer. How in the world is he at Pitt?
Same with Franklin from last year. That kid has no business being at Auburn. He's trash
Kam has legit talent though. He made plenty of plays. Coaches will take a chance on talent.

Sidenote:
Franklin was really saying he wanted to win a Heisman, National Championship and go first round :gucci:

* Isiah's insight into Buddy's personality was exactly right. He just doesn't understand his players, where they come from, their upbringing, etc. In turn, he can't really relate to them, so his only way of trying to get through to them is to blow up. For example, Isiah actually needed the treatment that Kam got from Buddy, and Kam needed the Isiah treatment. I also like how Isiah pointed out how a coach's self-interest will come into play and ultimately you'll see in them that they're just using you for your athletic ability, and as a means to an end. That whole, "Molding young men," is one of the biggest lies told in all of sports in relation to college football.

* It's kind of a microcosm of sports injuries too. Grown ass men telling kids they're faking, and they're not hurt because their livelihood is dependent upon them. shyt is brutal and sad.

* People are funny as fukk. I'm a lifelong FSU fan; going to be an alum twice over soon and I was reading their thread on this season on the biggest FSU site, and they were saying shyt like, "I could barely understand them.... They make me lose faith in our education system," and so on. If you switched most people's life circumstance(s) with Isiah, Rollie, DJ Law, et al., they don't even make it to Scooba. They'd already be dead or in jail before they get there. I mean, as a dude that's the first in my family to go college, little or no family resources, a high school dropout -- that whole urban tale -- it was a Herculean effort to get to this point. Moreover, I'm naturally smart as hell, my mom wasn't on drugs or no shyt like that and it was still hard as fukk. In terms of socioeconomic status and sheer probability someone like Isiah beat incredible and overwhelming odds to even make it to college. :wow:

* Misses Wagner may or may not have been sleeping with players. I will say this, it's indicative of our depravity as a society that the first thing a lot of people think is some sexual dynamic is afoot. We automatically have to make these sexual projections into situations. For me, she seems like a woman that genuinely cares and understands the plight of these dudes in a way that someone like Buddy never could. I also noticed that the players she was closest to were the players that were "seemingly" in search of something: Law, Rollie, Dakota, Tim and so on. She's not going to have the same relationship with a Deandre or John Franklin because they're not looking for the same nurturing consciously or unconsciously. She seems like a good person, regardless.

* What I find interesting about Kam is his great uncle/dad seems like a solid dude. He seems like the type of man that would cultivate the appropriate qualities in a young black man; but Kam was still a dikkhead despite it.

* Did Deandre throw 60 touchdowns? Goddamn.
Before I ask my question I want to give you some rep for staying strong through the come up. Not all of us that strength, but it's always joyous when you see someone whom actually does.

What do you mean by the bolded? Do you think that they thought of her as some sort of a guide and became somewhat attached to her?

Kam is 6'5, 310 with speed.

He and players like him are ALWAYS gonna get more chances and babied because guys like that don't grow on trees. Especially at the Juco level.

Not saying it's right cause Kam is a immature bytch....but let's not be naive.

Buddy told Isaiah multiple times they are going to take the offers away if you keep doing this:manny:

From the concussion till the end he was just being an ass

Why the fukk wouldn't the coach get on him for showing up late, hit the wrong holes, cursing out the training, not standing with the offense when y'all are working on something:what:

Again, Kam did the same if not worse and got coddled and nurtured. Which he should have. Why wasn't Isiah afforded the same? They both needed that same level of care and nurturing. I coach kids and coaches like Buddy really piss me off cause they ruin these kids lives because they don't act like adults they're supposed to be. Buddy p*ssy ass got on his assistant coach for the same shyt he gets on Isiah for... "you made a smirk, get off the sideline!" What a piece of shyt...

Maybe buddy was "nurturing" Kam because the line coach was riding him and didn't want to double down

We didn't see the RB coach really

Meh, that's fair. From what we can tell, there was a clear escalation in their relationship as the show went on. Dude wasn't a headcase in the beginning of the season when Buddy was cool to him. When Buddy started to sour, youngin retaliated. I have trouble siding with buddy in that situation when to a man, everybody hates him. His relationship soured with damn near everyone of significance on that show.
The OC was literally the perfect dude. He's exactly the type of man all these coaches pretend to be and homey makes a mistake and you ride him like that in front of everyone? As man he could have punched Buddy cold in his face and would have been justified completely.
