It's not "wishful thinking". People used to say Grace and eat as a family. Now we just pull up in the drive thru blowin OG textin on the phone Dolo.

People used to say "sweet jesus" after something. Now it's "holy shyt", "what the fukk", "da fukk", "Ey !", etc etc.

Nobody said anything about the word completely disappearing from earth. But yes, it's possible to get people to stop using it so much. You lettin your oppression get the best of you and you giving white folks too much credit.

I don't know nikkaz like that

It is wishful thinking. It's a word. People still say grace and eat as a family. People still use the term "sweet Jesus". Getting people to stop using it so much, won't change it.

:laff: at me letting oppression get the best of me and giving white folks too much credit. I don't even use the word on or offline unless it's in reference to a song, lyric etc. Even though I don't use it, it's a word that I still hear and see.

My goddamn self. Shout out to my real Africans
But if knowledge is key and if knowledge is the solution to all of those issues. Then why negate that One piece of knowledge and bask in all of the rest? Why do you want to keep your dog collar on knowing that you're not a dog?

Bro,

Let Jesse and Al talk about that shyt.

We have real work to do.

I think you are an idiot if you use the word and get mad if somebody else uses it. Only blacks call themselves a derogatory remark like that. David Banner was right.

Black people have already figured it out...its others who seem like they will explode if they're not able to have this word in their vocabulary

YOU don't use it like that but others do. And of course people still use those terms but the point is iz that they aren't very popular anymore and you don't really hear people using it like that. The same can be achieved with the N-Word if you get your head out of your ass.

I don't like how black celebrity views are valued more than black intellectual views.

I agree. But it's not necessarily about who can justify whatever view tha most elequent. It's about getting over it becuz the shyt's not that serious.

We all know when shyt gets real we get pissed. So as long as it's not dealt with accordingly then it'll always be an open wound. Social Media isn't going to destroy that. As long as people like Me no matter the Age then the Information and the Feeling will always be passed down. It'll never be cool. So why let the issue be "not so much" of a distraction in one world where it's nothing more than a form of expression that's to be sought after. And have it be a huge distraction in tha real world where the worlds can collide easily which can cause the biggest and even deadly distraction? FollowMe

It's moot so put it on ice for good and forget about it. If it's not a big deal then it's not a big deal

Of course other people use it. I only brought up me not using it because I'm not defending the usage of it.

The difference is those words aren't used like that anymore because people chose not to use them. Secondly, those terms aren't used as much because they were replaced by something else. Third, you're comparing phrases that were never banned, restricted, frowned upon, or were widely considered as negative.
