Can someone with knowledge on Chicago tell me something? My assumption is that the South Side Little League(s) have many, many issues getting kids to even play (poverty, parents not being able to afford fees, shoddy fields and equipment, lack of volunteers, etc.) so they may have had to do this to even field a team. Is this correct? If those young brothas were over aged I can see stripping them, but to my knowledge they were of age and from the same areas, so what's the big deal here? Our young brothas can't even do something positive without getting scrutinized and that hurts my soul, man. Those boys should keep their heads up and be proud of what they did on the field (which is where it really counts).

Nah, he didn't say that, but he did say that he was glad the the coaches had been kicked out or suspended from little league and he stated how the parents should be ashamed of themselves.

You can strip the title, but you can't strip the video of your team losing and Chicago's team celebrating on the field. Tough shyt. If I was the coach, I'd send a DVD to the las vegas coach on his birthday of my team winning just to fukk with him. :win:

I kinda mentioned this in another post, but Little league on the southside is broken up into 4 or 5 districts.
JRW is centered in a more "middle class" part of the southside and is the most organized and strongest of them. It's always been kind of a thing where kids who were really good wanted to play with JRW because it was the best and most competitive black Little league.
I mean when I was a shorty and lived like 1 mile outside the boundary, I technically should have joined Roseland LL, but in the 80's it was a joke, plus my dads friend coached in JRW so I used a diff address and played over there. I never had big league aspirations, just a kid playing a game, and I was far from the only one who's parents did the same. .

Everyone knows this happens in youth sports leagues, it's why the National board blew it off at first. The coaches from Evergreen park wouldn't drop it tho and this is how we end up here.

Its a non issue. This shyt happens in HS all the time, whether its sports or just general academics. My mom altered a lease so I could get into the neighboring better HS instead of the one in my district. Even at the professional level. All kinds of cops, firefighters, teachers live outside the city when they are required by law not to. This all comes down to jealously and the business of this league

You guys have the completely wrong view if you're 100% upset about this.

They were so heated they got their tails kicked that they snooped to find out kids addresses.:mjlol:

Grown ass man rushing home from work every day, sitting in his basement in his boxers googling kids names with that furrowed look in his face.:laff:

They were heated, and they'll forever have to live with the fact that they got whooped. What grounds you got if you lost by 40+ runs?

Y'all still ain't get the title, y'allstill ain't gettin a parade, y'all stil ain't going to the White House, y'all still didn't get Wordpress in the paper, y'all still didn't get a shout out from the mayor. Y'all got nothin, but the memory of losing.:laff:

You think them kids give a damn about that trophy after all that went down?!? :bryan: They do it for fun man, those kids did it just to stunt on the world and they did it, they could give a damn about that trophy, I know firsthand.

They not even trippin breh's, don't worry about the kids.:pachaha:

Thanks for the clarification.
