Jay ain't between releases. He's damn near a decade promising a solo album that's NEVER coming.

This shyt is like Nas' spitting his verse on Live at the BBQ and releasing Illmatic in 1999. The dude is a fraud. He might need another rhyme book to steal. I don't what the deal is but he's not a professional musician.
