So his tours sells out at a trillion bucks a ticket cause they think they will get to know the construction of who Jay-z is? Didn't he just drop one of the best albums of the year?

So his news about what exactly is bigger than going gold first week, having hit songs, multiplatinum albums, having tours of the summer, headlining festivals, performing at the biggest awards etc even outselling Beyonce with bp3?
. I don't know how anyone who knows anything about hiphop/pop culture can miss that and keep track of other things. You are in a thread about his music, saying that they write more about other things. Perhaps the 65 year old white bankers who only read Wall Street Journal and don't listen to hiphop or popular music at all and have heard about Tidal, perhaps you can relate. And even Tidal is music related. Or that rare baseball nerd who keeps track of baseball agents but no pop culture at all, again maybe you can relate. Generally speaking, all super-famous people are known even if people don't listen to their music etc. I know Taylor Swift, can't recognize a single song.

I'm not saying he's not a good performer, his shyt just doesn't match that of people who really give/do a lot more on stage. Jay, Kanye, prime DMX, meth and red, kast, and wu tang are hands down the best hip hop performancers I've seen.
