granted I doubt it will be leaps and bounds ahead of what you bought but you might as well be as future proof as possible

I still have my Ipad 3 and its still kicking somewhere but waiting on the new ipad air to be able to make it work in dash with my cars

Got this case back in May for 35 andhavent been disappointed. Would definitely suggest it for $17. Fits tight and covers the whole device
