cardinals played well with drew stanton too, I dont see it as a huge downgrade. if anything stanton can avoid dumb turnovers which Im sure were coming in the later weeks from carson
i dont see it as a downgrade for them at all. theyve won with stanton..hes proven to at least be capable...theyve barely scraped by on a few of their wins anyway...and the biggest question mark go for both carson and stanton which is if they will be good or crumble in the playoff spotlight. i dont think this changes the cards odds of doing what they were otherwise projected to do.
btw u guys letting crabtree go in the offseason should be a quick and easy decision. its even possible he gets the lance stephenson treatment in free agency where he has to take market value or below due to inconsistency and intangibles. teams are finding WRs all over the place deep in drafts or off the FA scrap heap so there should really be no way u spend big $$ on him. the nfl with the new defensive holding etc rules can make average WRs much better and effective and i wouldnt pay big $$ to any WR unless they are a transcendent talent like megatron/dez etc
the more he plays the more film is available, defenses will make adjustments, lets see what happens
