They really aren't much worse with Stanton, I actually see it as an upgrade somehow.
We know Palmer aint the truth and would be exposed in one of the bigger games, they're getting every possible bounce and break season long.
Stanton might have some magic in him, who knows, and he's more mobile than Statue Palmer
No, because they're millionaires who got to play the game they love and are HOF talents.
But at least they were great at the game, not coat tail riding dudes like Wilson

In a lot of ways the Card are us in 2011. They are a team built on defense, running, and great special teams play, then the passing attack is a cherry on top. Besides, I actually think Drew Stanton has a stronger arm.

also, Id put some brakes on crowning borland just yet.
we all knew dude is a tackling machine when he can lock in on his man. his coverage is still suspect and hes still kinda slow. I was reaally surprised brees and payton didnt try to throw at him on intermediate routes.
if it was 15 years ago dude would be the prototype 2-down ILB tho (no derek smith

i think hes ok at the current mlb spot, he only covers rbs and whilhote covers te's
what ive noticed is that hes pretty quick within 5-7 yard radius. rams did throw at him in coverage and he was really quick to react and limit those plays to minimal gains. to have him as a backup is golden just in case something happens
