shyt, I gotta agree.

Does anyone think this team would be this good with Baalke and random coach?

The success stems from Harbaugh, not Trent Baalke.

Truth is, I bet we can't even get a reputable coach to come here in Harbaugh's leave, due to the fact they see how this franchise treated a HC who turned the franchise around and had deep playoff runs every year.

We'll get some puppet HC who is Baalke/York's pet.

This is true too. With all Harbaugh has done...the guy really deserves the benefit of the doubt and more control. We were trash before he got here. A lot of 9er fans are really disillusioned though. Read the 9er boards and these dudes ready to hang everyone. Yall remember those dark days? I do.

They were real dark. :mjcry:

But...Harbs gotta get the O fixed and I don't think he can with the current staff and philosophy.

:russ::russ::russ::russ::russ::russ:

-all these fukking injuries and your complaining about scoring D?

-the two best ILB's in the league have been sidelined for the majority of the season

-the corners have a been a rotating door, a top 5 pass rusher missed 10 games for the year, and the D still put in work

D has done better than I expected given the injuries. They held up their end of things. The O though?

How y'all gon hate on the D? :what:
They held the Seahawks to only one TD despite being on the field the whole goddamn game, and Kap throwing 2 picks.

Tell you what i think - York is a bytchboy being puppeteered by Baalke-the-pimp, and has him looking at Harbaugh sideways.
Jed needs to think about the big-picture, the stadium, season seating, the $20 vegan dogs, the fancy amenities. No one is gonna give a shyt about all of that if the sea SUCKS.

so realisticsally there are two ways to go about it if we're sure about the culprits.

1. have jed do nothing and keep hoping the offensive woes will fix themselves, pretending everything is great.experience has showed that does not happen and all these woes carry over season to season no matter the talent and experience on the offensive side of the ball.
2. fire the persons responsible and try to upgrade on the offensive side of the ball

harbaugh keeps saying everything is cool and roman is doing great so he wont be cool with #2 if he is to stay.

so what are really the options left ?

people will still give a shyt if the niners suck, its a trendy thing now and stadium is new

tbh Im surprised by some people
some people have been shytting on roman but when it comes to actions yall are like :whoa: it was obvious we wont be able to fire roman without harbs. so really if you think roman is doing this offense disfavor, doesnt this mean harbaugh is sabotaging the team by refusing to fire him ?

sounds like some of yall really used roman as a scapegoat

I guess the thing is that Harbaugh is bigger than Roman, so people don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I just can't believe Harbaugh would rather leave than get rid of Roman. I know he's said as much, but I just can't believe it. I think Harbaugh is a more important piece than Baalke, but our recent failures are on Harbaugh's end, not Baalke's. So what are we gonna do, fire Baalke? After he's assembled a team that has led the league in pro bowl selections 3 years in a row? Baalke hasn't been perfect (*cough 2012 draft cough*), but he's been one of the best executives in the league. So basically we have to choose between an A+ coach and an A+ GM...I say go with the coach. If Baalke leaves, Harbaugh could reasonably take over most the GM responsibilities, whereas is Harbaugh leaves we have to start all over again with a new HC. It's not fair to Baalke, but it's the smarter move imo. Baalke is more replaceable than Harbaugh.

Harbaugh is much more than a coach, IMO.
Dude reinvigorated the fanbase, and brought the franchise back from shambles.
