so realisticsally there are two ways to go about it if we're sure about the culprits.

1. have jed do nothing and keep hoping the offensive woes will fix themselves, pretending everything is great.experience has showed that does not happen and all these woes carry over season to season no matter the talent and experience on the offensive side of the ball.
2. fire the persons responsible and try to upgrade on the offensive side of the ball

harbaugh keeps saying everything is cool and roman is doing great so he wont be cool with #2 if he is to stay.

so what are really the options left ?

3. Give him another season and. I'm sure Harbs will make some changes....even if he does keep Roman. Changes will be made somewhere. I'd say he at least deserves one underachieving season after 3 great ones. But I would understand if they let him go to. But if you let him go...the new coach better be successful or else

That's option 1. Let things stay the same and hope for a miracle.

Harbaugh is much more than a coach, IMO.
Dude reinvigorated the fanbase, and brought the franchise back from shambles.
He isn't needed to be more than a coach. You can have a statue of him even if he's gone :lolbron:

People forget Brian Billick won a sb with the Ravens, but was fired a year removed from a 13-3 season because as an offensive coach, his offense wasn't good. And Billick did fire his coordinator.

Point is, nothing good comes from trying to hold on to nostalgia in the NFL.

people will still give a shyt if the niners suck, its a trendy thing now and stadium is new

tbh Im surprised by some people
some people have been shytting on roman but when it comes to actions yall are like :whoa: it was obvious we wont be able to fire roman without harbs. so really if you think roman is doing this offense disfavor, doesnt this mean harbaugh is sabotaging the team by refusing to fire him ?

sounds like some of yall really used roman as a scapegoat

I'm on the camp of not believing Harbaugh is not willing to let fatso leave. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong but once the season is over I think Harbs can be convinced of changing the way he runs the offense and getting a new OC.

I just don't believe the No Roman = No Harbaugh line of thinking. And no fukking way Jim throws GRo under the bus, specially while the season is still going. I'd buy that theory when he's saying the same "he's our guy" shyt in the offseason :manny:

Pretty much. Though I can't see myself enduring another season of Roman, changes or not :why: I'll give Harbaugh another season. shyt, after ALL THIS fukkERY, we still gonna have a respectable record.

And here's the thing, while Harbaugh years were obviously good for us, it could've been so much more if Roman wasn't there in 2011 or 2012. His refusal to run when Alex had problems passing in the NFCG, and refusal to run Gore in the last drive of the sb likely caused us 2 rings. At the end of the day we don't have any silverware to show for it either.

We gotta hope roman gets recruited for a head coaching job. I wanted another squad to poach him so badly. He is our biggest problem.

The crapola of the play calling has made every area of the offense worse.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
yall thinking is too basic and too results oriented

harbs reiterated that roman is the man for the job. harbs will never make the change required
ok and???

this is the nfl.. what am i supposed to base it off, but results??

look at mike tomlin.. nikka won a superbowl and got to another.. 3 years with no playoffs and he's on his way out.. it's about results

meanwhile our coach hasn't EVER missed the nfc championship, still might not miss the playoffs, has another year on his contract (they always leave that out, we don't even have to get rid of him).... and yet he's on the way out

and when they bring in a new coach... they'll be grading him on results... ain't nobody got time for 5-6 years of missing the playoffs again so the offense can look amazing while going 3-13

resign harbs

fire the offensive coordinator

call it a day

if he's already on contract, he can't do or say shyt but retire once you fire roman... if i'm the owner i give no fukks about your feelings.. you're winning, here's some money.. yea i TOLD you i'd keep roman, but i lied.. and you're under contract... now help me pick someone else, or get the fukk outta here

if i was an owner, i'd be jerry jones straight up. we got the same number of rings as the cowboys.. start treating this like it's a privilege to be here, instead of bending over to any GM/coach/coordinator's wants

I agree with firing Roman and just letting it be, Harbs can;t coach in the league unless we give him the right to as we have him under contract for another year.

Put him on a decision

harbaugh isnt some meek fukkboi who will take FO firing his coaches lightly.
you really want him coaching as a lame duck in his contract year ?

he likely has verbal autonomy over coaching staff anyway
I dont see ANYTHING good coming out of forcing harbaughs hand.

you guys are trying to drive by the fork in the road and going straight

either we have harbaughs way...or the highway. there isnt some loophole out of it. its clear as day imo

It's just tough for us at this point, the whole situation is a mess.

its silly to hold on to results when clearly harbaugh is also the one responsible for our offense sucking

basically you want to retain results (tip of the iceberg) while also having offense not suck.

usually stuff is not binary, but here it kinda is.

youre either sticking with harbaugh through it all and dont complain if offense is utter trash and we dont get results for once, or get rid of harbaugh.
