Eddie wanted to fire Walsh multiple times though (and did a few times only to be talked out of it).
This is very accurate, said it a couple weeks back.
There is absolutely no run game, and we see how Kaep was protected by having a run game to fall back on.
He can't carry a football team with his passing ability at this point.
Actually I just checked both of their salaries, they're both around 3.5 Mil a year so we could probably throw em the same contract we gave to Jim, 5 year 25 Mil.
That too. Kaep is not at the level where he can ball out with a mediocre running game and a line that's falling apart. Kaep is looking ugly right now, but lets say we had Cam, Cutler, Orton, etc back there...would we be a better team?
Everything builds off of each other. Kaep has NEVER looked like this. Why folk think this is what Kaep is and the other season and a half + playoffs was a mirage or something? The whole team is struggling. Everyone on O at least. Lets see the QB with a competent line, running game and playcalling...then we can truly evaluate him and either move on or build around him. Bruh had Roman and a basic offense his entire career and still played good football. Imagine what he can do in a proper offense.
Dude is still learning the position and yet we expect him to overcome a piss poor gameplan, poor line, weak running game and terrible playcalling.
Next year we will get a clearer picture whether Kaep is the guy or not. I think he deserves at least another year, though.
The greats are usually difficult to work with. Results are what count... If they wanna can Harbaugh they better hope whoever they bring in can get better results.
