Well they're not the ones throwing picks.
It's always easy to blame a coach, but the players play the game.
I don't think one person or unit deserves the majority of the blame, it's all entwined.
The picks are a result of the gameplan, the playcalling, the lack of adjustments, etc. Kaep is not a turnover machine. Yet he's turning the ball over now. It all starts at the top. Kaep i snot blameless but the finger shhould point squarely at Harbaugh and co.
Agreed, he was never a turnover machine, and truth is he still really isn't.
He's just making worse choices at this point, but he has always had a problem trying to force the ball at times
He is pressing. Trying to make something out of nothing.
But then you hear the gameplan Roman specifically had for Seattle 2 weeks ago was to simply manage the game and don't be a gunslinger.
I remember them saying that during the broadcast, and he did the exact opposite.
Imagine Kaep in Chip's offense?
What's the point?
Really though, it's like saying "imagine Kaep in Bill Walshes offense".
Chip is successful in Philly, he aint coming here so why bother.
It's really not like saying that. Our offensive system and philosophy is trash. All I can do is imagine Kaep in a good system that would take advantage of his strengths. A new OC with some actual imagination would be great. Even Stanford's offense looked meh when you got a guy like Luck back there. Too damn conservative and basic. especially in the passing game.
Well tell me when we get Chip Kelly.
If you wanna fantasy hire coaches, look towards guys who`ll be a realistic hire.
On top of that, Kaep's problems have a lot to do with his approach to the game too. something i don't put on his coaches.

They get partial blame because they are trying to make Kaep a pocket passer when he clear isn't. They should be copying Chip Kelly's offense at Philly.
Would Kaep look better? Maybe, but I don't think so. Read option QB's just suck ass in the NFL. Kaep can't read a defense to save his life so that is out of the coaches hands.
Harbaugh is doesn't give a fukk because he knows he is getting traded to the Raiders and the players have given up. I can't wait till this season is over. Time to start over. They better have a QB competition. The good thing about Kaep salary is only 13 million is guaranteed.
I don't understand. Kaep was able to "read a defense" prior to this slide...but now he can't? Don't give me that read option shyt because he played in the pocket last year. "Can't read a defense" is lazy thinking.
Folk like to fall back on that when a "read option" QB struggles. You NEVER hear "can't read a defense" with the drop back passers who either struggle or suck ass. There's this misconception that drop back, pocket passers can read defenses. Why?
I don't know Kaep's reads, I'm not on the field so I'm not going to sit here and act like he doesn't know wtf he's doing. He's clearly struggling and seeing things that aren't there.
