I`m getting that same feeling.

While the offense may flourish, the defense may take a real step back, and the competition is strong in our division, a few bad breaks i can see this being 8-8 type of year,
Az defensively has taken a step back with their losses and the rams are the rams

There are obvious question marks and I agree that the team doesn't feel "right" but you have to look at it from this perspective. Every team has problems and most teams flaws are a lot worse than our own. We need a big year from Kaep, though. He has all these weapons now.

Hence the thread title, the offense is primed with weapons, if the line can hold up Kaep should earn his $

Did y'all see kap going through his progression during the last preseason game?
I'm hoping this is starting to stick with him, and that maybe it's a sign that he trusts his receivers and TEs (not just the usual suspects).

Also, Rogers and Brown have been getting exposed during the preseason. These cats were/are mediocre DBs who benefited from a strong front seven.
Cats like Justin Smith, Ray McD, and - to a lesser extent - Ian Williams, understand where and how to collapse the pocket to disrupt passing lanes and not just bull rush the QB, which is what i'm seeing form the rookies and younger player right now.

I did notice this, his checking it down to Miller.

I actually think Kaep will do very well this year, he's got the firepower and he's a hell of a talent.

As Hollywood as he is, one thing you can't say about him is that he isn't tough or isn't a leader.

September 7 needs to be here ASAP

Kap is always being commended for being the "first one, and last on out" of practice and training. People keep sleeping on the kid's work ethic.
Man, you ain't lyin', I'm hyped as fukk for the season to start. September 7 is the day after my wedding, and I already told my girl that the next day it's just me and the fellas watching football at the local bar.

Congrats to you too, my man. Yeah, my lady is cool as fukk about my hobbies and my "me time".
She's also no joke when it comes to knowing the personnel on the team, and is regularly schoolin casual fans at the bar.

I'm reding that they're redoing the grass at Levi's right now. I hope it holds up with all these game they're trying to play there in the next week.

Anybody else amped for this game. Our starting O and most of the starting D with the yougin's sprinkled in. I want to see more stretch the field plays from Kap like the Lloyd bomb attempt last week. Those are the plays that puts extreme stress on any defense no matter how good. Especially with the amount of PI and holding flags flying.
