If Towns' current numbers continue for the remainder of this season, he will become just the fifth NBA rookie to average at least 19 points, 11 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per 36 minutes. The only other players to average that are NBA Hall of Famers Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson and Ralph Sampson in addition to future Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal.

I'd trade KP for Towns in a heartbeat.
Even though towns is the best rookie out you need to stop with all this homie. Trust me I'd love a Dominican to be on the Knicks. I'm the biggest supporter of Dominican anything.Let KP develop... He's a knick and towns is not. Let's enjoy what we gotI'd trade KP for Towns in a heartbeat.
What does that have to do with anything? Towns is the better player.Even though towns is the best rookie out you need to stop with all this homie. Trust me I'd love a Dominican to be on the Knicks. Too soon to even make this determination. Both look good right now. I wouldn't feel confident picking one over the other long term at this point. What does that have to do with anything? Towns is the better player.

Towns has a better post game, is a better passer, and a better shooter. What happens when Towns improves his handle and he's pushing the ball up?Porzingis has a higher ceiling to be honest, Towns is better right now though, their skillsets are really similar.

None of that shyt matters if his jumper isn't wet like Dirk's.Towns has a better post game because he's more physically ready than Porzingis, you have to take the long approach with Kristaps. Both have franchise/superstar potential, Porzingis path requires working on his body, you say what happens when Towns improves his handle? Well, what happens if Kristaps can get up to around 255-260lbs? I've seen enough from him in terms of jump hooks with both hands and solid footwork to say he'll get better in the post when he gains weight
Just look at them next to each other -
