Nah dude is right - they're both near-equals as passers, the difference is Mudiay is more of an offense-run passer whereas Russel is more of an open-opportunity passer.

I'm trying to see what you're talking about. I haven't seen this "offense-running" ability in his play. I haven't seen elite level court vision. I've seen some that put Russell's court vision and passing on another level, and that plays out on the court. Haven't seen the same from Mudiay.

Randle is a faceup 4 with great passing ability that can beat big guys off the dribble or post up smaller guys. Okafor is a true back to the basket big. offensively they'll be fine.

defensively though we'll need to have a tony allen and mike conley type playing in front of them. they'll never be great but can be adequate enough like Pau and Bynum/Odom back in the day.

Honestly, I think TOwns is overrated as fukk and I'm more sold on Okafor because I think he's going to be a lock as far as being a dependable scorer in the league, but Towns is that sort of prototypical draft pick you can't pass up on.

He can play defense, he can shoot, he has nice touch around the hoop, and he's tall and long pause. With development and coaching he could become a great player.

Jahlil can't play defense to save his life, and he's a subpar rebounder. To me though, his scoring ability could be at an elite level. I see Towns as havin the potential to be a great defender/scorer, and I can see Okafor being one of those Carlos Boozer/Al Jefferson types-- offensively gifted but too retarded defensively and rebounding-wise to be a truly great player.

It's just you have greater ceiling with Towns than you do Okafor but with proper coaching there's no telling how great either can become.

Towns goes 1, Okafor goes 2 is how it will play. I'm not even a Towns fan but I admit he should be the number one pick.

From what I've seen and read from his stats, he's clearly a more polished product than Winslow. I don't know why he's being slept on, maybe he hasn't committed to the draft or something.

I would give the pick up for Cousins, I may be in the minority but I rather have a proven 25 year old center for the next 5 years along with a 19 year old project in Randle. To me that's better than two unknowns in the front court.

Based on this fact alone I have Mudiay over Okafor on my board too

Can't trust no more nikkas named okafor after that at least not that high in the draft

Towns got that Star potential. Post moves, hook shot, and passing like Shaq out the post. Much more marketable player even has an alter ego named Karlito

Mudiay is an American player though...You act like he's a euro and even than lets not act like their aren't a shyt ton of international players outperforming American college kids...Mudiay would of produced outrageous numbers at SMU.
