He was going for the tackle as Cam started his slide simultaneously. I said right away the only call would be a taunt because it was that obvious.

Cam doesn't get a lot of calls he should, but this play was not one of them..

What happened?

Scam rolls to his right, scrambles outside the pocket, appears to give himself up and the defender dives at him as Scam is sliding and the defender hits Scam in the head. As Scam gets up he flicks the football at the defender. Scam gets flagged for taunting, no flag on the hit (people thought it should've been a late hit penalty)

There have been plenty of hits he's taken that deserve calls, but this did not..

I'll take you at your word. My thing is this, tho: The "I was trying to avoid him after he started sliding" excuse works when he's sliding towards you. When he's sliding away from you, there's no excuse. That dude straight aimed for Cam's head.

It wasn't really worthy of a flag doe. You get outside the pocket you gonna refereed like a running back, I saw no reason for a late hit penalty there
