I see what he's doing.....You might as well get it with family if you can. But there's a limit to the business you can do with family. At some point the young man will want to branch out on his own, and not be in his Dad's shadow. That might cause some problems with the type of personality his Dad seems to have.

You don't do business with family. If Lavar had a business set up and brought Lonzo in that's fine but this is backwards. If you're a pro athlete you're the boss of your brand. Your agent works for you. In this situation Lavar is the boss and the agent and Lonzo work for him. These moves are being made in Lavar's interests not Lonzo's.
