Seems like in NO he played a big role in scouting and identifying guys. Being able to identify guys, acknowledge their weaknesses and understand the importance of developing them is something we've been missing.
He was there for Jose Alvarado, an undrafted guy, Herb Jones in the 2nd round and Trey Murphy.
Went to Atlanta, made the push for the Pels first in the Derrick Queen trade, got NAW, got rid of Trey and had the Hawks unexpectedly in the playoffs.
