Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Wasn't him not spending money, it was that letter and trying to cancel an entire season to spite him. He was always willing to spend the cash on a team.

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, :scust: who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, :beli: is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, :scusthov: self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" :mjlol: in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you. :bryan:

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal. :martin:

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER 'KING' WINS ONE" :lolbron:

You can take it to the bank. :mjlol:

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal :scust: by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there. :what:

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. :comeon: And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become. :mjpls:

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action :dahell:can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. :usure: And until he does "right" :childplease:by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.:rudy:

Just watch. :mjlol:

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....

Dan Gilbert

Majority Owner

Cleveland Cavaliers

Petty. Spiteful. Ungrateful. Hateful. Just disgusting.

Reading this again, must've been hard as hell for Bron to return to Cleveland. :francis:

After that letter? Then his actions during the lockout? I know I wouldn't have. Not sure we've ever seen an owner disrespect a player like that.
First neg rep victim. :wow:

Well LeBron and dan's relationship is not as toxic as the one Jordan had with bulls management.

When LeBron was drafted by Cleveland, dan let him and his entourage do what they want, they had access to everything and no decision was made without LeBron's approval. Lebron desperately tried to recruit big name FA's to there but no one would come.

Dan's perspective was he gave LeBron EVERYTHING and he left, he acted like a scorned lover. And it would not shock me to convince LeBron to come back, dan was in there literally crying and begging like keith sweat. I don't think things are volatile between them now, just cordial... Lebron deals with the GM more than dan anyway.

Remember too most these owners and minority owners don't even like each other.

That loud mouth Jewish minority owner of the heat who was talking shyt about Lebron isn't even liked by Mikey and the minority owners.

Ross Perot jr. I believe still owners or did own a part of the mavs and he doesn't like Cuban and actually took cuban to court. Saying Cuban was loosing too much money on the team and making Ross Perot lose money on part of his investment.

What is the saying......business is never personal.....well that is all talk. Cause it really is personal at times.
Ross still has 5% and the lawsuit was dismissed when they won the chip lol. How can you mismanage a team that just won the ultimate prize in its field.
