Yep and the skill level is different. In the NFL almost most these dudes interchangeable. Even lower level QBs. How many times teams in the NFL lose a starter or multiple starters and don't even miss a beat.

Poverty and ignorance are why NFLPA stay getting shortchanged. A lot of the players have awful spending habits (ignorance) and taking care of families (ignorance and poverty) so they feel they can't miss a week's pay.

This is it. What's their recourse? Half these dudes are living paycheck to paycheck and would cave as soon as they miss the first check. To get the NFL owners to the negotiating table with real terms you'd have to forefit a year AT MINIMUM(probably closer to 18 months).
