Small sample size breh
The Cubs are loaded with power and are facing a rookie, wouldn't shock me if Matz gets rocked and this goes back to Flushing. If Arietta(I understand he got rocked in game 2, but he's still a Cy Young candidate) gets to pitch again, all bets are off. I'm not saying we'll see the Cubs win 4 straight, but there's a shot this still goes back to Citi on Saturday.

It's not impossible baseballs a quirky sport the problem is the Mets pitching is so good that winning 4 straight or even 3 is gonna be hard as hell

Also Matz getting hammered is possible but so is the Cubs pitcher going today

We just gotta win one game and it's ON again, we have a great chance with Lester for game 5. Get that win and Arrieta pitches game 6 and all bets are off for game 7! This team has it man, just rookie mistakes, but these rookies learn quick tho

Let's say you beat Matz tonight... you're going have to beat Harvey, Syndergaard, and DeGrom :martin:

The 2004 Yankees, since the narrative now it's about the Cubs doing what the Red Sox did in 04, did not have pitching left after game 5.

the yankees had Kevin Brown and Jon Lieber (a cubs ace at one point) pitching game 5 and 6, they weren't scrubs buddy.

This team is capable of breaking out, it just takes that one spark and i believe game 4 would be it.
