the yankees had Kevin Brown and Jon Lieber (a cubs ace at one point) pitching game 5 and 6, they weren't scrubs buddy.

This team is capable of breaking out, it just takes that one spark and i believe game 4 would be it.

A Kevin Brown that was shot and a Jon Lieber who had a 4+ ERA... they were scrubs at that point in time.

But I agree if the cubs can win tonight then it aint over.....yet,but with hammel sorry ass pitching I have zero confidence he'll spot the mets a 3-4 run lead by the end of the 2nd I think today could be a slugfest

This Mets team has more energy and passion than that 2004 Yankee Team... I always felt those Yankee teams were just going though the motions from 2002 on, they had the Jay Z stimulus package in 09 with ESOM

The thing is, the mets were the worst team for the cubs to face

The mets are sadder, more depressed, had more bad luck and bad press in recent years. For a moment they finally see light and it's turning them into monsters. I wouldn't be shocked if they try to make this game a blow out.
