I didn't want to respond to this thread or get into discussions online about this issue, but this one I will answer. I'm disgusted by my own government, dissapointed beyond repair. I was going to South Africa for a year early september, I might stay away forever. It's complete disgust, frustration, anger and dissapointment to see our leaders react like they do. There's no anger, no movement, just trying to stay friends with everybody. While 193 of our people are down, their bodies desecrated by some of the lowest of lifeforms this world has ever seen.
That's all I'm gonna say, or my anger will get the better of me.
1. Korea was a stalemate because of MacArthur pressed his luck
2. We were winning Vietnam but losing the PR battle
3. We knocked iraq's ass out TWICE within a month each time. Its the campaign to nation-build that hurt
4. Iran? Don't even get me started.
