Is a plane lost if it's shot down though?
Apparently it wasn't a restricted zone and its a VERY popular route:With the questionability of flying in a war zone, do we start to question the competence of Malaysia Airline pilots? I'm sure those Chinese families feeling real justified now for shytting on the airlines after the first crash.
this shyt is War.RIP
but shyts about to get ugly![]()
Again, this is a VERY popular commercial route and where they were was technically not a restricted area:no offence but why are they flying at low altitude in a war zone? thats like flying 10km in Iraq during the height of the war, you just dont do such stupid things. who are training their pilots? you are supposed to go AROUND the ENTIRE fukking country.![]()

dawg, Malaysian Airlines is FINISHED.Man, I would not want to be Malaysian Airlines' insurer this year. RIP to the deceased and strength/comfort to their families.
BTW, be careful searching around on Twitter et al about this. Lot of stuff out there you might not wanna see.
its not contested air space.Just read information. It appears that the separatists have been shooting down Ukrainian air force planes since the conflict de-escalated. Verified source of one of their leaders claiming responsibility for shooting down two planes today but it appears he said they were military planes.
Why the fukk would anyone fly into contested air space.
The flight was going from the Netherlands to Malaysia so the Europeans are going to be pissed.
information is power; provide some links if possibleMan, I would not want to be Malaysian Airlines' insurer this year. RIP to the deceased and strength/comfort to their families.

agree...intent was there, but most likely mistook it for a military/transport planeits not contested air space.
The route was very popular and hundreds of planes fly it regularly
