One guy that was on the plane posted a picture of the plane on twitter before it took off in case it "disappeared" once again. This is sad

The Dutch and the Eu aren't going to be very happy with this to state the obvious.

Still wondering why the hell would any airline fly into contested air space that had shot down air force planes recently. Has any other international flights gone through there?
Yes

International flights go through there all the time. Especially to east africa. I have a friend whose flight I tracked a few weeks ago whose flight did just the same thing.

Its a very popular route. Not ALL of Ukraine is a war zone. Its the biggest country in Europe, don't forget that.

the seperatists just made a statement saying they don't even have weapons to reach that high of an altitude and it's not possible for them to do what they are accusing them of

I don't know if they have the black box but I don't doubt they control the scene, especially if they made a mistake like thinking a civilian airliner is a military air craft.

Again, this is a VERY popular commercial route and where they were was technically not a restricted area:

So is the persian gulf, but during the war, america was responsible enough to give them the ":usure:" traveling warning about the area. I mean damn, Ukraine has fighter jets in the area as we speak. This should be common knowledge, it sounds like they just took the risk.

Today's flight does not appear to have deviated from the paths of previous flights in any significant way.

Malaysian flight that crashed in Ukraine was on the same route it flew every day
The plane did not appear to be on an unusual trajectory today.

There's not a no fly zone. Not sure what your point is in twisting reality.

It's irresponsible of the ukrainian gov to play the blame game so early after the incident and disrespectful towards the victims and their families. It's too early to blame anybody before the forensic experts have made their examinasions

This was Russia all the way they seen that big plane and assume it was a cargo plane. If they cant find that black box more than likely that was the case and they are covering their tracks. Ukraine had no reason to blow that plane or any plane of that nature.

nah. trust me. I was just crawling some aviation sites. I take their word on it being a popular route.

look at those live flight trackers...their airspace was full of flights filled with commercial jets going all over the world.
