At the world 3 boss, the hype is real brehs :wow:

fukked up and took 1 too many turns on one of those escort missions on world 3 :snoop:. My goal was to get all perfects in one go but now that's 2 battles I need to redo :francis:

I've been playing in short bursts. Im currently on world 3, escort toadette and I'm getting my ass kicked. I'm not using the right team nor am I using a good strategy. I usually try twice then try again in 24 hours.

I have all perfects in world 1 and 2 and all challenges except for 1. World 3 I just hit a wall.

That escort mission is the only non-boss mission in the game where I went over the turn limit. fukk that mission

Just best the world 3 boss. Only took 5 turns when I had a limit of 9 (although, you don't know the limit as you're playing) but in reality Mario was about to get KO'd with the next hit so that killshot came just in time. Luigi with that Overwatch 3 hit combo to kill the boss :wow:

At the Final Boss. The chapter before the boss has a ridiculous difficulty spike. Very, very hard but I was eventually able to get all perfects for world 4 leading into the boss

I finally came over the difficulty hump I had in world 3.

I was made it through the first 2 worlds, a couple restarts and started world 3 like "this finna be a breeze"

Got rocked more than a few times. started playing in short spurts. Finally got past and now im getting ready to finish up world 3. Got rabbid yoshi on the squad.......

Took me a while but I finally beat the last boss. Got the exact number of turns needed for a perfect too :whew:
Last boss and the preceding chapter are extremely hard to perfect. Especially the last boss, it's very easy to get KO'd from full health in a single turn if you make the wrong move.
Amazing game

Favorite team?:jbhmm:
Rabbid Luigi is pretty much a permanent fixture in my squad. Depending on the map I tend to go with Luigi or Rabbid Mario as the 3rd member. I almost never used Peach, Rabbid Yoshi or Yoshi. Rabbid Peach gets burn once in a while but it's usually Mario/Rabbid Luigi/Luigi or Rabbid Mario.
Rabbid Luigi's fully upgraded Vamp Dash makes him the best healer in the game by far. Rabbid Mario with his explosive dashes stringed with Magnet Dance and hammer can take out 4 or 5 strong enemies in one turn. Luigi with fully upgraded Steely Stare is near op. He's a glass cannon though, if you're not completely careful with where you position him, he can easily get KO'd in one turn

Just finished the last Ultimate Challenge. Ultimate Challenge 4 was the hardest, 3 was the easiest for me, I think I beat it on my first try

:leon: ultimate challenge? Never heard of them but I'm happy to hear there's more to come. Right now I'm doing the world 3 challenges then moving on to world 4. I really like this game, not as much as super Mario rpg but this game is very very good in my opinion. It has good music and fun battles. I don't know what the plan is for dlc but regardless I would highly recommend this for any switch owner.

Ultimate Challenges are found through the overworld. When you beat World 4, you get an ability that allows you to access them

Just 100% the game. 60 hrs.

My personal GOTY so far.
Sheeeeeeeit congrats :mjlol: I'm 80 hours or more in and I haven't started world 4. I kind of stopped playing at home and have been playing at work when I can. So I may start, pause and pick up later if not the next day and resume...

I just got a copy yesterday, and the Piranha Plant boss really helped me stop being :flabbynsick:

I lost quite a bit, but I finally started using the field elements to my advantage to single out the Piranha plant. I was :ooh: when I shot the push box and the enemy rabbid went flying and Mario used the (hero sight?) to shoot the fukker in mid air.

I mostly played on the train and on my lunch break.
Game really clicked for me.
I'd say really keep on the skill trees and make sure you're not just buying the latest weapon but one that has the best status effect for your character.
