You think mcdonalds was the only company caught using underage child labor???:what: nikka this is where this country is heading... Just ask Hyundai about that plant down south!!!
A franchisee was caught you are making it out to be a company problem. That's the issue. Embellishment. When you have a pattern across franchises then your point would be valid right now it's not. Nobody is saying these things don't happen but you are making it out to be a corporate endorsed problem.

Let the truth stand on its own. The embellishing and exaggerations are misleading which causes misinformation. We are in a world full of misleading news because of this and it's affected people drastically. People alter and omit details to get their desired effect. Let the facts speak for themselves. As it stands it's a rogue restaurant. You are making it out to be a corporate issue again. Why? To raise a point that this is where society is going while we are simultaneously having strong discussions about the fact that these starter/entry jobs will be phased out and automated soon. We are losing jobs for adults to robots and software not going back to child labor. Sensationalism.

I just saw the news and in Wisconsin they trying to pass something for 14 year olds to sell alcohol..

One bar owner said it’s hard to find help so he’ll be happy to hire a young kid to sell alcohol..

A lot of job openings out here but nobody wants to work

Many business owners want their employees in poverty. Gen Z ain't with that, and probably would respond in violence and gun shots.

Did you not read about all the meat processing plants that have been caught doing the same thing with migrant children? On top of that you have several states loosening the child labor laws like Iowa and Arkansas. It's evident that corporations are lobbying for this stuff or lawmakers wouldn't bother.

that still doesn't make it a mcdonald's corporation issue or societal wide issue

these things still happen. no it is not "evident that corporations are lobbying for this stuff"

we are literally in the second era of mass automation job phase out starting. I dunno what trend forecasting you dudes are on but you are not based in reality. who are these people that will be giving up children to work en mass in society? you go from a rogue restaurant to a plant exploiting immigrants and conclude that this is the future as sanctioned by industry.... :wtf:

this discussion is having a hard time staying grounded. like if your state killed their child labour laws today you would send your kids to work or reluctantly give them up to a corp? nah. that's just sensationalism. we both know it's not happening. your kids will be losing jobs to robots at mcdonalds in the future. that's the reality they are facing. i like to dwell in reality

again you omitted something pertinent to steer the narrative. franchise is all over your news piece. you are PRETENDING this is a Mcdonald's corporation doing.

stop the bullshyt and just report accurately before inserting agendas and biases

that's the issue with today. i'm not mad at all. just calling out the spin
